Restorative Justice Facilitation

With over a decade of experience as both a mediator and a restorative justice facilitator, I bring a unique blend of expertise, empathy, and skill to facilitating restorative justice processes. My facilitations have included:

Criminal and Juvenile Court Proceedings

I've facilitated restorative justice dialogues incident to court proceedings. These dialogues, often involving defendants facing charges ranging from misdemeanors to felonies, tend to occur after the adjudicatory phase, usually incident to sentencing. However, they are sometimes scheduled as a diversion to the criminal prosecution.

Workplace Conflict

In the realm of workplace disputes, I have facilitated circles and restorative justice dialogues to address emergent issues and create a better foundation in the work environment. Both processes have a place.

Family Disputes

I have found thatcircle processes are often effective in bringing together all stakeholders, including guardians, parents, and extended family members, in disputes. These may occur in guardianship proceedings, will contests, and custody disputes.
